Are you trying to find some fun and engaging Christmas themed speech therapy activities? This is one of my favorite themes to do in speech therapy because almost all kids love to talk about what they are wanting to get from Santa. Whether you need materials for your articulation kids, your language kids, or your fluency kids, there is something to cover them all!
The best part is that these activities are all extremely low prep, so you don’t have to worry about spending a lot of time putting them together. 🙂 I hope these Christmas speech and language activities are just as enjoyable for your kids as they are for mine!
PUZZLES
These puzzles are one of my best sellers! It’s easy to incorporate them into your sessions and they cover both language and articulation goals, depending on what you need. They come in both color and black & white options so you can choose which ones you’d prefer to print! If you do the black & white puzzles, you can always have your kids color the picture after gluing the pieces. I’d recommend using glue sticks if you choose that option.
LANGUAGE SCENES
You can use language scenes in your session to target multiple goals. These North Pole Language Scenes are great to target articulation, language, and fluency! They come with 4 language scenes and pre-written WH- questions and prompts for following one and two step directions.
ARTICULATION MATERIALS
Both of these articulation materials are great because they will cover your entire caseload!
1, Use these articulation notebooks with your kids throughout the entire month of December with how many activities are included for each sound.
2. This set of Christmas articulation worksheets are also great to use if you see anyone multiple times throughout the week. It includes 3 different layouts for all speech sounds, including blank create your own worksheets, if needed.
DOT WORKSHEETS
My kids absolutely love to do dot worksheets! They have honestly become a staple in my sessions because I can use them to work on any goals. BINGO daubers can be messy, so try using paint sticks or the magnetic BINGO chips instead!
WORKBOOK
If you are looking for an all-in-one type of activity, consider grabbing this Christmas Workbook! It targets various language and articulation goals, including articulation, following directions, spatial concepts, and more. It even includes a BINGO game!
Happy Holidays!
